Dee-Sepuluh-Empat

"Nak angkat kawan..
dee-sepuluh-empat."

Last night was officially the last time Marv and I would be saying those words in a long while.

Okay to those who have no idea, that's Krystal's apartment number: D-10-4. Every time Marv and I go pick her up, we'll say those exact words (without fail) and hand the guards our driving license to register before we're allowed to drive in.

So yeah. Ms Sexay-Pants-of-Randomness here would be flying off to Melbourne, Oz later tonight. So gonna miss that woman! :'(

Wish I could have sent you off. Sorry babe. I'll see ya in June aight?

Double screenings

I freakin' got to go for two movie press screenings today! Woot!

First was The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at GSC, Mid Valley. Loved the story, the characters and whatnot.. but to me the storyline was a tad draggy . The movie's based on a short story but it's 2 plus hours long la!

Why can't they do that for Harry Potter or something?? It's those thick-ass-novel-based-movies that deserve to be filmed that long and detailed. I so wouldn't mind sitting in a freezing cinema and holding in my urge to pee for those kind of movies. They deserve it.

Then again, whatever it is, I won't deny that Benjamin Button was a good movie. The concept of the story is quite genius, even if I say so myself.

I found this picture online:

I think it's cool, no?

The next movie's thanks to Nicky Dees. Here's the story:

Nicole got the tix for The Pink Panther 2 press screening and was supposed to ajak her other friend who has been dying to watch it. The girl didn't pick up her calls so she decided with me instead. Funny thing is the girl messaged Nicky during dinner:

Hey. Saw your missed calls. What's up?

But Nicky thought "What she doesn't know won't kill her." And so I still was the one to go with her. Yay!

So the movie, as expected, was fcuking hilarious! Steve Martin's awesome, I tell you.. awesome! I like Insp. Clouseau's cacat-ed French accent but seriously there was a point in the movie where I really wanted to smack him for being such an blundering idiot! Ish..

Oh and I didn't expect at all that Aishwarya Rai would be in the cast. Shocker! She was pretty good though.

I love my job.. and Nicky for being such a nice friend!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is adapted from the 1921s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918 to the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man's life can be. Benjamin Button is a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.

The Pink Panther 2

Insp. Jacques Clouseau, the legendary French Officer of the Law, who single-handedly saved the priceless Pink Panther Diamond, has been working outside the museum where the diamond is on display writing parking tickets for the last 6 months. Chief Inspector Dreyfus assigned this duty to his bumbling and inept police officer to get him out of his hair. Recently, treasures from around the world have been stolen by the Tornado, and an international dream team of detectives is being assembled to capture him, Clouseau being one of them. As soon as Clouseau joins the team, the Pink Panther Diamond is stolen by the Tornado. Now Clouseau must not only capture the Tornado, but save the diamond again.
