Bad day

The 8th of May, 2008. From what I can see and hear, this day is not a good day.. not good at all. Well, for my friends that is. Here are the reasons why:

1. Two couples (all four, my friends) are not in good terms with each other. In other words, they're fighting.

2. A friend's father might go to jail for something his company did. That friend's immediate family might have to flee the country. That friend's grandmother had a heart attack when she found out what happened.

3. The same friend from (2) is one of the couples from (1). That friend came all the way to college (even when not supposed to) to inform the other half about the problem and say goodbye, just in case. But because they are fighting, that friend's other half doesn't wanna talk or care.

4. A friend lost a big sum of cash and a bigger check.

5. Every radio station is playing emo songs. Not a good idea when two friends from the above are car-pooling in my car.

Now you tell me whether it's a bad day or not.

I guess it's just one of those unforgiving days.. they happen. All I can say is to be strong and brave.

Iron super hero

Yay! Finally got to watch Iron Man.

Actually was supposed to watch last Friday with Marv, Adrian and Christy. But I had a lecture and tutorial, so they went without me. Damn 'du lan' lor.

But anyways, I got to watch it and Lou tagged along. It was actually very last minute. You see, every Wednesday I have only an hour of Media Law tute from 1-2pm. Today was special. Ms Peggy decided to have a 2 hour lecture (from 12-2pm) instead since our Mid Terms are next week.

But then Marv has class till 7pm. Takkan I wanna wait for him so damn long right? That's why I wanted to watch a movie. Invited Lou, Nicky, Gracie and Zach but only Lou could make it. Gracie and Zach had exams. Nicky gotta fetch her mum somewhere.

So the movie was freakin' awesome! But, if compared to Transformers, I feel it's probably only like a quarter of its cun-ness. Anyways, good show.. good show.

Oh ya! And did you know that if you stay back after the credits, there's something extra to watch. Not many people know about this. But Lou knew cus her friend told her. Laughs.

Lagatron

Just so you know, the word 'lagatron' is what Lou says when the computer or internet is lagging. Yupz.. one of her usual self-created words. She's famous among my bunch of college friends for that.

Anyways, my Media Law lecture is actually at 1pm, but I gotta take the 9.30am bus to college cus Marv had to drive. He has an early class (at 7am!) today.

So here I am at TLC.. blog-hopping to spend time. But the stupid motha-fuckin computer is lagging like mad! Chi bai kia! It's bloody irritating okay.

Plus, I'm also listening to my music from my pen drive. And the fuckin lagging is screwing up the music.. well only a little.. but still it's damn annoying la. Spoils the experience. Pft.

I think I'll restart the computer. Maybe it'll improve.

I seriously can't believe it. First I found out that, for a guy, I have small feet. I'm a US size 8 and a UK size 7.

Today I found out that I also have pretty short fingers.. well that's if I compare them to Lou's. Look at that! This is the first time a girl has longer fingers than mine. Crap!

Sigh.. as much as I hate to say this, I'm glad that she's out. I do like her, but I just don't think she's good enough. Plus, she's competiton for Syesha (whom I now wanna see in the finals since Carly's gone).

Anyways, I'm sure she'll get some record deal. No doubt, she is a good singer.. just not great and consistent enough.

After today's Media Law tute, Lou and I went down to the cafeteria to bum, and also cus I gotta wait for Krys. I found this doodled paper pasted on one of the pillars. Wait.. actually I realised it earlier but didn't think of taking a picture of it.

Anyways, I just think it's damn random and 'mou liew'. I mean, come on la. Is this what you do during a lecture? Plus the idea of drawing someone and suggesting that's how he will look in 20 years is SO high school.. or probably primary school.. okay whatever.
