My new semester starts tomorrow. And the first lecture has to, of all subjects, be Mass Media Law! It's one of the most difficult subjects for Mass Comm. I repeat.. the most difficult! T______T Not looking forward to it.
But probably the only good thing is that my schedule's pretty relaxed. Which is really unexpected, seeing as this semester's a long one. That's good, cus then I'll have extra time to complete my assignment's and stuff. And definitely no last minute work anymore. No way. Even if I do work better under pressure.

Productiveness
I've actually just realized that this month of March is my most productive month. I've actually blogged the most compared to all the previous months.

Heads up
Okay, as you can see, I've finally changed my header.
I was getting really bored of how my blog looked. And since I can't find the perfect blogskin, I decided to just change the header and a few colors. Hope you guys like it.
The picture is of a girl taking off her top and exposing her intestines, which are fake btw. Still the thought is really gross. But me like.. hehe.
Anyways, I found it one night while doing my assignment. Um.. I cropped it so it wouldn't look so much like a girl, which worked out pretty well. I'm somewhat satisfied with it though it's really very simple. But it's nice all the same and I'm really not an avid fan of very elaborate designs and stuff, though that depends.
Oh ya! Since the header kinda suits my blog title, I guess I won't be changing the title after all. So now the only thing left to change is my blog address, which I'll do soon. Yes.. soon. I hope.

Fireflies
Marv & I went to Bangsar for lunch wit our mum & two of her high school friends. We ate at the La Bodega tapas y vinos. It's at Jalan Telawi 2, somewhere across the road from Devi's Corner & Cat's Whiskers.
The food was scrumdidlyumcious. If you ever go there, I recommend that you try their tapas: the Champinones (mushrooms), the Berenjenas (brinjals) , and the Pate Hidago (chicken liver pate). They're really tasty. So are their burgers.
Sadly we forgot to take photos. Sigh. Anyways one of my mum's friends ordered a Firefly Detox. It looked really interesting.
Then after lunch Marv & I went over to the Green Grocers at the old wing of Bangsar Village to get some groceries. And we found the Fireflies: Wake Up, De-tox, Chill Out, Sharpen Up, and Health Kick (I'm not promoting them or anything).
We bought one each just to try them out; Marv bought a Chill Out & I bought a Wake Up. They are really good but pretty expensive though. One bottle for RM10 plus.

Camwhores gone wild!
Today's posts are all about our crazy & random 'photoshoot' on the 6th of March, Thursday. It was the day that all our exams were over, well except for Marv & Krys.
I guess this was the way we chose to celebrate our end of semester or maybe to release the exam stress. What the exact reason was, nobody knows.
For your info, just for today's posts, the later ones (eg. this post) are to be read 1st. This is cus the photos in the later post (Toilet Photography) were taken 1st and the ones in the earlier post (What's big & black?) were taken at the end of the day. Hope you understood that.. hehe.

A quick(ie) hello
This happened a couple of weeks ago. Rina of 8TV Quickie was at KDU for I dunno what.. something to with KDU's 25th Anniversary.
Before she left, I managed to take a photo with her using Christy's new Nokia N-series phone.. forgot what model. She's really petite!
Marv and Christy also "took" a photo each. But because I was the photographer and I didn't know how to use the phone's camera function, the photo didn't come out. Apparently I pressed the wrong button. My bad.
Don't blame me, or call me stupid or whatever. I haven't used a Nokia phone for like 3 years! That's a really long time. But sorry anyways.

Panty Avenue?
Went out with Marv, Szen, Ling, Thiv & Krys on the overly-hyped Election Day. Later we went to the Curve cus the girls wanted to walk through the bazaar.
Niwez, let's focus on the title people!
It's damn true. On the way to fetch Ling, we drove past a row of panties on the road! And their not just any ordinary row of old, torn, dirty & deserved-to-be-thrown-out panties. They look pretty new.
As you can see in the photos, there are different colored ones, even one black lacy one.
Lollers!
At first we missed taking shots of the panties. But being the 'mou liew' people that we are, we turned back after picking Ling up to show her and quickly snapped some photos. We even stopped in the middle of the road! Haha. Luckily no one honked.

DAP vs UMNO
This is a post I found from the website malaysianpolitics.com while googling for info on the recent Election Day for my assignment. It's damn funny & cleverly written. Kudos to the author of this post!
According to OKT, Umno cannot be the DAP’s political arch nemesis and a vote for the DAP cannot be translated as a vote against Umno. He added that The fact is, DAP only contests in MCA-contested seats and it was illogical for the DAP to ask all Chinese voters to vote for the party just to fight Umno.
Using OKT logic, a vote for UMNO is also not a vote against DAP. Therefore Malays who voted for UMNO are only voting against PAS/PKR but not DAP. Simmilarly, using OKT logic, a vote for UMNO is also not a vote for MCA. Therefore, chinese should never vote for UMNO though both UMNO and MCA are in the same alliance.
Too hard for you to understand this logic? Let me put it in a more simple arithmetic equation.
BN = (UMNO + MCA + MIC + Gerakan) ———— (1)
DAP fight against BN
Therefore, a vote for DAP is a vote against BN ————– (2)
Substituting (1) into (2)
A vote for DAP is a vote against (UMNO + MCA + MIC + Gerakan)
This also means that
A vote for DAP is a vote against UMNO
A vote for DAP is a vote against MCA
A vote for DAP is a vote against MIC
A vote for DAP is a vote against Gerakan
Let me give you another example. Say that you go to supermarket and see a big packet of chocolate called BN. Inside this big packet of chocolate, there are 4 small packets of chocolate inside namely UMNO, MCA, MIC and Gerakan. Can you tell the store manager that,
“This packet of chocolate is too big for me, can you unwrapped it and let me buy only one small pack of chocolate?”
Guess what the manager will say? “You gila kah? These chocolates are wrapped together, either you buy this whole pack or you don’t buy them. Or you can choose another different pack of chocolate!”
Still insist on buying the small packet of chocolate(MCA) but not the whole big packet of chocolate(BN)?
Chances are, the manager will ask you to buy another packet of chocolate called DAP.

The Matriarch Tribute
My family's matriarch passed away yesterday at around 4.30pm. She was a 103 years young.
According to my youngest aunt, she's the most respected & loved member of the family. The reason for that is because back then, during the conquer of Japan, she smuggled food & other necessities to other family members who were hiding in the forests as refugees. She truly risked her life doing so cus the act of helpig the refugees was a serious crime.
She will be missed.
